The Voice - Season 7

Last night on The Voice USA Season 7, the artists each performed two songs and we saw emotions running wild during their home visits, which are always nice to see. To be honest, this is going to be a tough one to call, as all five singers are good and have done well on the iTunes charts all season long. How could any of them go home tonight??? Chris Jamison climbed higher on our favorite’s leaderboard with both his performances last night. Where did this kid come from???


Who is going home tonight on The Voice Season 7? We love all five singers, so it is tough to see any of them go home on The Voice 2014! I still made my predictions earlier, so check them out while we wait for the recap to start!

Here we go…we start with a look back at the performances from last night. Who was your favorite? Carson Daly is not messing around tonight, as he reveals the three artists moving on to the finale from the Top 5. They are:

  • Chris Jamison – Team Adam
  • Craig Wayne Boyd – Team Blake
  • Matt McAndrew – Team Adam

Now Taylor John Williams from Team Gwen and Damien from Team Adam will join the seven other eliminated artists and perform for the Voice Wild Card! You will vote tonight and then Carson will reveal the results on the Today Show tomorrow morning!

Wild Card Performances

Reagan James (Team Blake) – I always liked Reagan and she has that raspy voice and it does work with this song choice. She brought out the girls tonight for those votes, huh?

Jessie Pitts (Team Blake) – This was another one that I was a fan of and liked her voice. She has a different style and it worked on this song choice, but she struggled with some of those higher notes and it was rough at times.

Ryan Sill (Team Gwen) – When Ryan finally didn’t win the Voice Save last week, I thought I was done with him. Here he is again….ugh! He has a sweet voice, but nothing spectacular and I’ve said it from the very beginning.

Anita Antoinette (Team Gwen) – One of my favorites this season was Anita and I loved her vibe and style. She has a cool voice and this was a very good performance by her!

Taylor John Williams (Team Gwen) – Honestly, how can he not get the Voice Wildcard tonight???? He picked a way better song choice and knocked it out of the park. He hit some good notes and it has to be him or Damien coming back.

Damien (Team Adam) – I will admit that Damien has not been one of our favorites this season. It’s not that he can’t sing because he has an amazing voice, but I just never feel the connection with him. This was a very good performance and he has such a soulful voice.

Sugar Joans (Team Pharrell) – She went purple and lost me this season. I think she has a different sound to her voice and it can work at times, but most of the time it sounds like screeching to me and I am ready for this performance to be done!

Luke Wade (Team Pharrell) – This one is tough, as I thought Luke would be in the finale. Adam Levine said it best and that it seemed like Luke lost himself at some point this season, but he found it tonight. This was a great performance and I loved it!

DaNica Shirey (Team Pharrell) – Ugh, this is another tough one. She has such a strong voice, so how can you count her out. She is a great performer and this was a great song choice for her. Minus Sugar, Team Pharrell brought it tonight on The Voice USA 2014!
