We have the final week of Blind Auditions on The Voice USA 2014 starting tonight and it looks like we will see some good ones, as The Voice coaches 2014 (Blake Shelton Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams) work to finish filling their teams for the Battle Rounds starting next week on The Voice USA Season 7! Each coach has two spots to fill, so we should see some good action of them battling for those great artists that have yet to hit the stage. We will also see them being very picky since they don’t have many spots remaining on their team. Check it out with us during our The Voice USA 2014 Recap that follows!

The Voice - Season 7

Last week on The Voice 2014 Season 7, the coaches added even more talent to their teams and fought their way to these new additions. On Night 3, we had some more great talent take the stage, including Mia Pfirrman, who had all four coaches hitting their buttons for Mia. Adam got back to his four-chair winning ways and got Mia to pick him as her coach. During Night 4, the four-chair-turnarounds continued and we saw Team Adam win again, but this time with Jonathan Wyndham.

Here we go…the first artist of the night is Matt McAndrew and just recently graduated and was a vocal major. His parents never married, but he does have a great relationship with his father. He got his first guitar when he was 11 years old. He sings “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri and it is so weird to hear it. I have heard plenty of people cover this song on these singing shows, but not sure if I ever heard a guy sing it. His voice is so good and consistent and I am a big fan, as are Blake, Pharrell and Adam, who hit their buttons for him. They all fight for him, but he picks to join Team Adam and keeps the tattoos together!

Next up is Brittany Butler, whose parents divorced when she was young and her grandfather was the father figure for her. He introduced her to the jazz standards that she loves. He got her a guitar and video camera, so she started posting videos on YouTube. She has a strong voice and a unique style. I am not a huge fan of her face when she sings, but that voice is very different and I am a fan of that. She gets Gwen and Pharrell to hit their buttons and she picks to join Team Pharrell on The Voice USA 2014!

The next artist is Evan Watson and he owns a farm brewery. Him and his wife own it and she is pregnant, but he has always wanted to be a musician. He opened for Meatloaf and got to make an album, but he needed more stability and got away from music. He knows The Voice 2014 is his last chance. He has that deep and raspy voice and he has the soul going strong in his voice. He has that Blues Traveler sound to him, but no coaches hit their button for him and he is headed home!

Now we have Ryan Sill, whose mother is an opera singer and teaches voice lessons at their house and he has been around music his whole life. He has two sisters and they both sing. He was in college for engineering, but wants to pursue music and this will show his parents he made the right choice. He is a very good-looking guy and has a decent voice, but I don’t think there is anything special about it. Blake and Gwen think there is and hit their button for him and Ryan chooses Team Gwen!

Time for Fernanda Bosch and music is a big part of her family. They come together and sing and dance and it is a big influence on her. Her Mom was an Olympian swimmer and now teaches swim lessons for special needs kids and Fernanda helps with that. However, this is about her singing and she has a good voice. She has a rasp to it and she changes up the song. It takes some times, but we have Blake and Gwen again, but this time they pick Team Blake!

Next up on The Voice USA 2014 is Beth Spangler, who works at a children’s hospital in Georgia. She loves being able to help the kids, but music is her passion and her dream is be a singer. Everyone thinks she sings country, but she sings a soulful pop. She sings pretty good and has some good range in there. I am not overly impressed, but the coaches are and they all hit their buttons for her! They all fight hard for her, but she picks Team Adam and that completes his team for Season 7!

Carson Daly heads out to meet Erin Kim, who is from a tae kwon do family. His father also enjoyed a lot of Korean folk music, so his musical influence comes from him. He performs at a lot of colleges, but needs a boost. He takes a popular song and slows it down big time and he has a good voice and the coaches all say he is good, but none of them hit their button for him and he is headed home!

Next up is Griffin and he thinks he is good enough for one name, huh? He wanted to go to Nashville when he was 12 years old to establish himself as an artist, but his parents did not allow it. They struggled financially. Him and his sister started a bow tie business to earn money for him to go to Nashville and it worked. He has that old school sound to his voice and it is very smooth and he gets the remaining coaches to all hit their button for him. He picks Team Pharrell and his team is now complete on The Voice USA Season 7!

Chandra Knudsen is up next and she comes from a small town in Ohio and they had Flannel Fridays in school, so do we have a Team Blake candidate? She has a weird obsession with Batman. She has a good country voice and hits some big notes, but she is pitchy too and no coaches hit their button for her.

Mayra Alvarez is from the same town as Jake Worthington from Season 6 and she gets a special video message from him before taking the stage. She has a good sound to her voice and has some good range. She has a nice vibrato and she gets Gwen and Blake to both hit their buttons for her, but after a little time. She changes up the coaches from her hometown, as she picks Team Gwen and he team is complete for Season 7!

Now it is time to see Blake try and finish his team on The Voice USA 2014! We see some unsuccessful auditions, but Justin Johnes is hoping to change that. He does not perform anywhere, but he makes videos on YouTube and does covers on there, so this is his first time performing in front of a crowd. He has a good range on him and vibrato. He is young and Blake can work so well with him. It took some time, but Blake hit his button at the end and he joins Team Blake and I think it could be a good combo there.

The blind auditions are complete for Season 7! Who do you think has the strongest team?
