Tonight is a huge night for the Top 4 on The X Factor USA 2012, as the four remaining acts find out their fate. Will they make The X Factor Season 2 Finale or will they go home one week shy of fighting for that $5 million prize? Carly Rose Sonenclar, Tate Stevens, Fifth Harmony and Emblem 3 all took on two songs last night on The X Factor 2012 and then left it in the hands of America to vote. How did they vote? Come back tonight for my The X Factor USA 2012 Live Recap and find out who was eliminated on The X Factor Season 2!
Last night the singers all took on two songs a piece. For the first time on The X Factor USA Season 2, the singers got to choose a song for themselves. Tate chose a song he would record on his album. Both Carly and Emblem 3 chose a song to honor their parents and Fifth Harmony chose a song that would show them off as a more fun girl group and not so serious. The the mentors (Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid) picked a song for their act. It was an interesting night and despite the performances, I think we have some pretty solid standings every week to know who should be leaving tonight.
We are down to the Top 4 on The X Factor USA 2012 and tonight that number goes down to three, as America’s votes are tallied and we find out who was eliminated on The X Factor Season 2! The X Factor judges (Britney Spears, Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Demi Lovato) have no say in it tonight. It is all on America, so who did they send home and who makes The X Factor USA Season 2 Finale? Check out my X Factor USA 2012 predictions and come back tonight for my X Factor USA Season 2 Live Results Show Recap!
All season long, the bottom two singers each week sang for survival and the judges voted to send someone home. I think this is stupid because why does America vote? They should have the final say. The judges picked their teams and now let America decide who is the best of what they chose. That finally happens tonight, as there will be no sing-off between the bottom two and no judges vote. America voted and the act with the least number of votes goes home!
Episode 7 of Project Runway All Stars Season 2 tonight and seven designers remain, so is it a lucky week for someone? Well, we know for sure it will be an unlucky week for someone on PR All Stars 2012 when another designer is eliminated. Tonight on PR All Stars Season 2 it is the challenge all the designers hate, but the judges and audience love to watch: the unconventional challenge! Check out the video below of the Project Runway All Stars 2012 preview, but things are going to get very festive tonight, but who was eliminated on PR All Stars 2012?
Last week the designers were using eco-friendly and green materials and fabrics to create their looks and tonight it is all about using the unconventional products to create a look. While some struggled last week, others shined and took on the green challenge with ease. Laura Kathleen went for a jumper for the red carpet look, which I was not impressed by, but the judges loved it, including guest judge Diane von Furstenberg, and she was picked the winner.
One of the favorites to win The X Factor USA 2012 has been Carly Rose Sonenclar, as her and Tate Stevens have managed to keep the top spot all season long in the rankings on The X Factor Season 2. Her mentor, Britney Spears, thinks she is ready to take on the big time singers in the world, but how do you feel about Carly? Tonight she sang two songs on The X Factor USA Season 2 and it is all up to America to vote her into the finals next week. I think she will be fine, but check out her performances below on The X Factor USA 2012 semifinals!
For her first song, Carly chose “Your Song” by Elton John. This is her Dad’s favorite song and he is the one who inspired her to sing, so she sang it for him. I love me some Carly, but does anyone else think she needs to sing a song more her age? She is 13 years old after all! She has great vocals, but I want to see her have fun and act like a teenage girl every once in a while. Agree or disagree? Check out here first performance on The X Factor 2012 here:
Of all the acts remaining in the Top 4 on The X Factor USA 2012 I would have to say my favorite by far is Tate Stevens. I think he is very deserving of winning The X Factor Season 2. Will he? I am not sure. It has been a battle between him and Carly Rose Sonenclar for the top two spots each week in the rankings on The X Factor 2012. Tonight Tate got the chance to sing two songs to win your votes on The X Factor USA Season 2. You can check them out below for The X Factor USA 2012 semifinals!
For his first song, Tate Stevens picked “Bonfire” by Craig Morgan. He wanted to stay true to his country roots, but also wanted to have fun and be more upbeat and dedicated this to all his friends. I think it was an awesome performance and was a different side of Tate. This is the kind of song he would record on his own album, so he showed America why they should vote for him on The X Factor USA 2012. He won my vote, but decide for yourself here:
We got to see the Top 4 perform tonight on The X Factor USA 2012 Semifinals and with two songs each, it was time for the four remaining acts to show America what they were made of. One of those acts left is Emblem 3, which has seemed to make it this far on somewhat good singing, but good looks that have all the girls voting for them on The X Factor Season 2. I think they can sing, but are they the greatest? Check out Emblem 3 on The X Factor USA Season 2 below.
For their first song, Emblem 3 decided to sing “Baby I Love Your Way” by Peter Frampton. This was their Mom’s favorite song growing up, so this was their choice. They were determined tonight to make Demi Lovato happy and how she wants them to command the stage. As much as they tried, I think they failed. I have just come to outgrow Emblem 3. I think they started out so good, but each week on The X Factor 2012 they disappoint me more and more. Check out their first performance here and tell me your thoughts:
The Top 4 took the stage tonight on The X Factor USA 2012 and it was a huge night, as they all took the stage and performed two songs for the Semifinals of The X Factor Season 2. There are two groups remaining for Simon Cowell, as both Emblem 3 and Fifth Harmony are alive and kicking on The X Factor 2012. Fifth Harmony is an underdog tonight, but they did a solid job. Check out both their performances on The X Factor USA 2012 below!
For their first song, Fifth Harmony chose to sing “Anything Could Happen” by Ellie Goulding. For the first time on The X Factor USA 2012, the acts could chose their own song. Their mentors normally pick the song for them, so the girls thought this would be a fun and upbeat song to show the world a more fun girl group. Did it work? Not for me. They can sing, but I am just bored by these girls. Anyone else? Check out their first performance here:
The chefs can only get better this week on Top Chef Seattle, as we saw head judge Tom Colicchio get pissed off during the tasting and take away the prize for the winner and eliminate two chefs during the double elimination. Things have to get better for the cheftestants tonight on Top Chef Season 10, right? One would think, but you never know when it comes to Top Chef 2012. Things will get interesting tonight, so you won’t want to miss a thing during my Top Chef Seattle recap!
It was all about team work last week on Top Chef Seattle, as the cheftestants partnered up for the Quickfire Challenge and then stuck with those same partners for the Elimination Challenge. They had to make breakfast on a stick for some farmer’s market vendors and then use rare ingredients to make stellar dishes for the judges. They all failed miserably and in the end we saw two more chefs hit the road and head to Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen.
Only two more episodes of Survivor Philippines 2012 to go before we find out who wins Survivor 2012 Philippines! Things are intense during Finale Week, but we have to get down to the final three castaways to determine the winner. We have Lisa Whelchel, Mike, Malcolm, Denise and Abi remaining and there seems to be a Final Four Alliance, which may come crumbling down tonight on Survivor 25. You never know what will happen, so come back tonight for my Survivor Philippines 2012 live recap and we’ll find out together who was eliminated on Survivor Season 25!
Everyone in the world was rooting for Abi to be sent home last week. She is annoying, everyone hates her and she never seems to participate in the challenges. She is always running her mouth and just comes off as a bitch. The Final Four Alliance (Malcolm, Denise, Mike and Lisa) decided that they should get rid of the bigger threat and send home Carter and keep Abi around, even though she is annoying, because they know they can beat her in the end. Smart move? Maybe, because Carter could have won immunity tonight and broken up the alliance, but Abi most likely won’t win immunity.
With five castaways left on Survivor Philippines 2012, we have officially been welcomed into Finale Week on Survivor Season 25! It is down to Lisa Whelchel, Mike, Malcolm, Denise and Abi on Survivor 2012 Philippines and is it possible for Abi to wiggle her way into the final three? It could just happen or will Lisa stick to her word like she has all season on Survivor 25? The Final Four alliance could be in danger tonight, as you can see in the Survivor Philippines 2012 preview below, but who was eliminated on Survivor Season 25? Come back tonight during my Survivor Philippines 2012 Live Recap to find out!
Last week things were perfectly lined up to get rid of the most annoying player in the game: Abi. She won immunity the week before, but this time she was free to be voted off. Lisa worked up a plan to take out Malcolm as a shocker, but he went and won immunity to ruin that plan. The Final Four alliance decided that Carter was a bigger threat and they sent him home and now we have Abi for at least another week on Survivor Philippines 2012. Will she be able to stay strong and survive another week?
