Good points made and taken. From reading her post, Ashley and I are pretty much on the same page regarding the premise of this show, which differs only slightly from your perspective. Ashley, of course, is always much more gracious in her comments than me. So, maybe we (you and I) can just agree to disagree on this one. There's always been people like her..why no backlash against Drew Lachey or the other pop/dance people? I mentioned that before..no one said anything about it. 2nd, anyone who thinks Evan didn't have an advantage is wrong too! Ice skating is dancing on ice! What, you think he's just a natural at those razor sharp spins? His advantage wasn't as big as Nicole..but that's why he got 2nd! I hope there's even more next year! I hope its like battle of the pop stars! Improvements are cool to see, but for me? NOT what the show is about..partly yes..for me it's about the dancing..I wanna see the best dancers doing the best dances.. Nicole winning was kind of bittersweet for me since I was pulling for evan lol. Yes, nicole was the best dancer but she had the most experience going in. Evan was the most improved and that is more what the show is about imo. Unfortunately for erin she lost due to the crazy choreography of her partner maks but again that's just my opinion.
