During last week’s first “American Idol” Hollywood Week episode I noticed early standout Scott Dangerfield (Milwaukee auditions) was missing. There had been no real reports as to whether he was still in the running or if he was out.

I thought I was the only one wondering, but when a lot of “Scott Dangerfield” Internet searches directed readers to Reality Rewind, I decided it was my job to find out what happened. So I’ve been searching for an answer since Thursday night.

According to Daemon’s TV (via Internet rumors), Scott took himself out of the running to focus on school. I don’t even know what to make of that. The guy could’ve gone all the way (at least Top 12). He already had Jennifer Lopez on his side and according to Internet searches, a lot of early fans. I hope he knows what he’s doing.

Maybe we’ll see him again next year.
