This is a great theme on Dancing with the Stars 2014 tonight, as the couples on DWTS 2014 will be taking on new roles as Dynamic Duos on Dancing with the Stars Season 19! We will see everyone from Adam & Eve to June & Johnny Cash, which should be very entertaining! Watch with us during our Dancing with the Stars 2014 Recap and see who was voted off Dancing With The Stars 2014 tonight!

BETHANY MOTA, DEREK HOUGH

Last week on DWTS Season 19, the couples took on their first team performance of the seasons and they did not disappoint. Derek Hough has never lost a team performance before and he kept his streak going with the Team Itsy Bitsy performance. I would have picked the other team, even if they weren’t in sync the whole time. We also saw another great routine from Alfonso & Witney, but that is a given for them! After all the fun, we saw another elimination and this time it was Cheryl Burke and Antonio Sabato, Jr., eliminated and it could have been Cheryl’s last dance, according to this story!

Now it is time for us to sit back and watch them and listen to the Dancing with the Stars judges 2014 give their feedback and see who goes home tonight! Follow along with our recap starting soon, but in the meantime check out our predictions from earlier today!

Here we go…we have immunity tonight, so the couple with the highest total tonight will gain immediate immunity for the night, so that is huge! Here we go to the performances:

Couples Performances

Team: Lea and Artem as Bonnie & Clyde
Dance: Jazz

They have been given some slack the past few weeks about their performances and thinking too much. They seemed to let it go this week and I am loving this performance. They were really good, but did get out of sync a little towards the end.

8.0 – Bruno said the styling and setup was right, but it had to have more of a reckless, badass attitude.
8.0 – Julianne said everything presented itself so perfectly, but she felt a little underwhelmed and the choreography felt a little dated and she wanted more spice.
8.0 – Len said it had a tango feel to it and I liked that. It could have had more content in it, but she is a little safe with it.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said the best thing about that was her confidence is finally back, but some of the movement felt mimish.
Score: 32/40

Team: Michael and Emma as Jane and Tarzan
Dance: Foxtrot

I am hoping this is the last time I have to see them perform this season! There were stumbles and he seemed to just be walking around the dance floor. Get into it, Michael! I mean, you are in Week 8 and show it!

6.0 – Bruno said it was cute. He can see him apply himself, but a good try and better than last week.
6.0 – Julianne said he did a much better job this week, but it was really good.
7.0 – Len said that is the best he has seen him dance.
6.0 – Carrie Ann said he has improved so much and he was doing difficult things.
Score: 25/40

Team: Janel and Val as Romeo & Juliet
Dance: Contemporary

This is one of those dances that I was excited to see tonight. A contemporary can bring out so much emotion, especially from a good couple. They definitely did not disappoint! This was awesome and they had so many emotions going out there and Val was clean-shaven!

10.0 – Bruno said extremely ambitious and glorious in every way.
10.0 – Julianne said breathtaking and when she dances like that, there is no one else in the room.
10.0 – Len said I knew she was a good dancer, but tonight she showed him she is a great dancer.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said that was his finest choreography and it is the epitome of what dance is about.
Score: 40/40

Team: Tommy and Peta as June & Johnny Cash
Dance: Paso Doble

She wanted to step it up this week and not as many breaks, but he is the oldest person to make it this far in the competition. I will say this until he is kicked off the show, he is so fun to watch. He can bring out a few moves here and there. Sure, there were some stumbles in there, but I still enjoy watching him on DWTS 2014!

6.0 – Bruno said Peta keeps you in line and she hits you with a lot of content, but he was behind it.
7.0 – Julianne said from Day 1, he has come out here and charmed us. The timing was off, but there is something about him that is what this show is about.
7.0 – Len said he is like a hot dog: he is tasty, but never sure about the content.
6.0 – Carrie Ann said he was a beat behind for most of the dance, but their connection saves him.
Score: 26/40

Team: Sadie and Mark as Adam & Eve
Dance: Contemporary

This was the the other couple I was looking forward to seeing, as we had another contemporary routine on Dancing with the Stars 2014. They did not disappoint either and this was a great story with a great performance. She is another one of the stars that I enjoy watching because she is out there having fun.

10.0 – Bruno said she has come such a long way and he can’t believe it and it was amazing.
10.0 – Julianne said there was a maturity there that was beyond anything they have seen before.
9.0 – Len said they won’t be banished from the Garden of Eden and they’ll be back next week.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said she is impressed and they nailed it and her lines were gorgeous.
Score: 38/40

Team: Alfonso and Witney as Batman & Robin
Dance: Cha Cha

They had some troubles in rehearsals with the zip line and Alfonso coming in, but no issues tonight! He is just so damn good and they are so fun to watch. This was a fun routine and they were having fun with it. They had some great moves and he just holds his own with her!

10.0 – Bruno said Alfonso rocks Gotham City and she is the hottest Robin he has ever seen.
9.0 – Julianne said every time he comes out he is pure entertainment and she wanted to dance with him on that floor.
9.0 – Len said get in your Batmobile and head into next week!
10.0 – Carrie Ann said there is something so right about seeing them and super smooth and super smart.
Score: 38/40

Team: Bethany and Derek as Lucy & Ricky Ricardo
Dance: Salsa

I am a huge fan of Derek, but I just was not feeling it during this routine. Something was lacking and I was surprised. The music was hard to perform to and it seemed like they were missing all the normal moves I would love from them.

10.0 – Bruno said her versatility exceeds all his expectations.
9.0 – Julianne said her journey this season has been her favorite journey.
9.0 – Len said she was sizzling out there and it was fantastic.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said she is ridiculous and that was phenomenal, but there was one mistake.
Score: 37/40

The performances are done from the couples tonight, so Janel and Val have the highest score of the night and win immunity and they are safe this week! The rest of the couples will take part in the Dance Off coming up!

Dance Off

There are six couples remaining and they will be going head-to-head and the winning couple will earn three points. They will be doing a Jive, Cha Cha or a Rumba. They will get to choose the couple or the dance style.

Alfonso & Witney pick Lea & Artem to dance against and they pick Jive. Alfonso & Witney are up first and they are, again, so fun to watch. They have so much energy and it was another good routine from them. Lea & Artem are next and they start a little slow, but they kick it in and are having fun too. This is going to be a tough one from the judges!

WINNER: Alfonso & Witney, so they get 3 extra points for tonight

Sadie & Mark pick Bethany & Mark to dance against and they pick Cha Cha. Sadie & Mark are up first and they did really well and she, again, is a joy to watch and just has fun with it. Bethany & Derek are next and I am so over her damn lips tonight. I think that distracts for me and I just think they are too puckered.

WINNER: They have a split vote, so the head judge picks the winner and that means Bethany & Derek win and get 3 extra points

Tommy & Peta are up against Michael & Emma and dancing against the Rumba. Tommy re-injured his calf during the first performance, but he is powering through this one. This was slow and he didn’t do much, but they tried, huh? Michael & Emma had more dance moves in there, but he looks like a creeper during the whole dance and it scares me!

WINNER: Tommy & Peta, so they get 3 extra points for next week!

The only think we have left to do now are the results! Janel & Val are safe for tonight. The next couple safe is Alfonso & Witney! The next couple safe is Bethany & Derek! Also safe are Sadie & Mark! Also safe are Lea & Artem. That leaves us with Michael & Emma and Tommy & Peta. The couple eliminated tonight on DWTS 2014 is Michael & Emma!!!
