Team: Janel and Val
Dance: Rumba

She goes back to 2002 when she moved from Hawaii to Los Angeles. BJ was her mentor and had faith in her. Within the first year of her moving to LA, BJ got sick with breast cancer. She died before she got the chance to come back to Hawaii and say goodbye and she always regretted that. This was another great performance from them and it showed so much emotion.

9.0 – Bruno said she looks like an exotic angel and she took him to the Garden of Eden.
9.0 – Julianne said BJ would be very proud and she does perform from her heart.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said she was incredible and that was absolutely breath-taking.
9.0 – America’s Score
Score: 36/40

Team: Jonathan and Allison
Dance: Samba

He said they are going to have to pay homage to Mean Girls! The support from his parents have been huge, but he lost his Mom a year ago and his Dad four months ago. He said his Dad would want him to go out and have fun and said this one is for him. There were some good moments in there and he was having fun with it. Not the best routine, but it was fun to watch.

6.0 – Bruno said the party spirit was there, but he couldn’t get that bounce and he was off timing. The attitude and spirit was there.
6.0 – Julianne said she loves the relationship they have, but it is flat and no highs or lows and all erratic.
6.0 – Carrie Ann said she loves the he attacks, but he should have more elegance and technique and stylization.
8.0 – America’s Score
Score: 24/40

Team: Betsey and Tony
Dance: Jive

Her most memorable year was 1975 and the birth of her daughter. The father was not supportive and Betsey wanted to change the bad things and she ended the relationship, which inspired her to start her own company and her daughter brought new life to her and this dance is to her. I am a fan of Betsey and she can do moves younger people couldn’t. She is slower at times, but she can work it out too!

7.0 – Bruno said keeping up with the jive is hard for anyone, but she did it well until she went wrong at the one part.
7.0 – Julianne said the way she celebrates her daughter is the way America celebrates her.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said that was phenomenal. Not only is she brave, but she is beautiful and she is a b-girl!
7.0 – America’s Score
Score: 29/40

Dance: Rumba

She started her YouTube channel in 2009 because she was bullied about her physical appearance and it was by friends. She felt she lost her voice, but the videos brought that voice back. She said things do get better and she hopes to show that with this dance. Okay, my first big messy cry of the night! This was an awesomely choreographed dance and the story was so good. Great job!

8.0 – Bruno said the message was right on the spot. It is good to see her expressing her emotion and we love her for it, but the hip action wasn’t quite right.
8.0 – Julianne said what she stands for is so beautiful and what she wished to tell herself years ago she just told so many girls tonight. She said it was beautiful and the concept was gorgeous, but not enough Rumba.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said when you are totally true to yourself, it comes across. It was a beautifully danced routine.
9.0 – America’s Score
Score: 33/40

Team: Michael and Emma
Dance: Quickstep

He said his most memorable year is 2001 in which he won at Daytona. Dale Earnhardt was his mentor and friend and died during that race, so he went from a high to a terrible low and he said part of him is still not over that low that day. He said he wants to dance it perfectly, but if he messes up that Dale might like that even better. He did have some good moments in there and impressed me. He was a little too flat-footed for me though.

6.0 – Bruno said he can see the dancer within screaming to come out and he is trying, but he went wrong so many times.
6.0 – Julianne said there are moments that are so great and moments that aren’t and it pains her too.
6.0 – Carrie Ann said that was so good and started strong, but putted out as it went on.
7.0 – America’s Score
Score: 25/40

Team: Lea and Artem
Dance: Contemporary

Her Dad was her biggest supporter, but in 2003 her father was diagnosed with cancer all over his body. She wanted one more year, but she had one more week. They celebrated all the holidays in one week. She said his death taught her how to live. Bring on the big tears again! Beautiful dance and such strong emotions.

10.0 – Bruno said exceptional quality of movement and she is an exquisite performer.
10.0 – Julianne said dance can move people and not only did it move me, but everyone will agree and it was flawless.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said she will remember that dance forever.
9.0 – America’s Score
Score: 39/40

Team: Antonio and Cheryl
Dance: Samba

He said when he moved here from Italy and he was struggling. He finally got a gig with a Janet Jackson video and he said it started his career and now he dances to it tonight on DWTS 2014. He is not a great dancer and I thought he would be going home tonight, but he is safe. This was an alright dance, but he is an awkward dancer and tried to win us over with his shirt off!

7.0 – Bruno said he has to reach for full extension and be careful on his steps.
7.0 – Julianne said he is getting more comfortable with the steps, but there is a space around him that he has to fill up.
7.0 – Carrie Ann said that opening and he is the heartthrob of this season, but everything they said is true.
8.0 – America’s Score
Score: 29/40

Time for the final three couples to get their DWTS results 2014 tonight:

  • Alfonso & Witney – SAFE
  • Sadie & Mark – SAFE
  • Tommy & Peta – In Jeopardy

Team: Tommy and Peta
Dance: Jive

He said his most memorable year was 2003 and when he went to prison. He said he learned to live each moment every moment at a time. This routine is a celebration of his freedom. I have said it all season long, but he is a joy to watch. He has fun and it is cool to see him working it. Not the best routine and he had some stumbles, but I am such a huge fan!

7.0 – Bruno said he is absolutely wonderful, but a couple of missteps there.
7.0 – Julianne said there is no denying that she is obsessed with him and that was enjoyable to watch, but that was not his best dance.
7.0 – Carrie Ann said dance is a visual sport and it is totally natural and totally easy on the eyes.
7.0 – America’s Score
Score: 28/40

Team: Sadie and Mark
Dance: Samba

Her most memorable year was 2012 when Duck Dynasty took off and he life changed. She said they would not be where they are without their faith and dedicate this one to her family. This was another one of those routines where it was great and fun, but was there Samba in there? Very cool and they had fun.

9.0 – Bruno said the little girl has some bite and way to go!
10.0 – Julianne said that is the perfect combination of concept and content and that was amazing.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said that was fantastic and by far best Samba of the night.
9.0 – America’s Score
Score: 37/40

Team: Alfonso and Witney
Dance: Jazz

He said his time on Fresh Prince were some of the most memorable years of his life, but it pigeon-holed him into that character. His goal this week is to please the fans, so we all want to see The Carlton and here it is! This was awesome and danced so very well. They worked it into the routine very well and it was a good story and great dancing!

10.0 – Bruno said a Broadway standard jazz.
10.0 – Julianne said what he does each week and that people are going to remember Alfonso.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said this is what we have been waiting for…finally.
10.0 – America’s Score
Score: 40/40
