We should be in for a big night on Dancing with the Stars 2013, as a big announcement is about to be made but no one knows what it is and it is making me go insane thinking about it! What could the producers tell us tonight on Dancing with the Stars Season 17? Will it be anything or just a way to keep us intrigued and then tell us it is some lame “one of the female stars could go home” twists? Watch it with us tonight to find out what the big announcement is during our Dancing with the Stars 2013 Recap and see who got eliminated on Dancing with the Stars 2013 tonight with us!

KARINA SMIRNOFF, CORBIN BLEU, AMBER RILEY, DEREK HOUGH, EMMA SLATER, BILL ENGVALL, TONY DOVOLANI, NICOLE "SNOOKI" POLIZZI, SASHA FARBER

Last week on DWTS 2013, the teams took part in a new Switch-Up Challenge, which was a dance marathon-type challenge and the last couple standing got more bonus points. The songs kept getting switched up and the couples had to keep up with the rhythm and change dance styles. It was all for nothing, as no couple was sent home last week on Dancing with the Stars 2013 because of a voting error and all the judges’ points will be moved over to tonight.

We should see a couple go home tonight (and we made our predictions earlier), so follow along with our recap starting soon!

WARNING: DANCING WITH THE STARS 2013 SPOILERS AHEAD!

The following post contains videos from tonight’s performances on DWTS 2013 Week 7. Don’t want to know who went home on Dancing with the Stars Season 17 tonight? Then don’t look ahead!!!

*****************************************************************

Here we go…we have another guest judge and performer next week in place of Len Goodman, as Cher will be sitting in his place next week! I guess that is the big news, huh?

Round 1

Team: Elizabeth Berkley and Val Chmerkovskiy
Dance: Quickstep

They got the first perfect score of the season last week on Dancing with the Stars 2013, so expect Val to be super hard on Elizabeth this week. He is being beyond tough on her and you feel bad for her. They had a lot of moves and quickness to this routine, but her dress kept distracting me at the beginning. Lots of movement though and they did good.

9.0 – Bruno said what a good job and it was so fast and they did lose some body contact.
9.0 – Len said that was utterly full on and that is the way to start a show.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said it was fantastic and she has seen her growth and she is becoming a ballroom dancer.
Score: 27/30

Team: Brant Daugherty and Peta Murgatroyd
Dance: Jive

Brant said that the jive seems easy, but then it is also very easy to screw up. He is loving the funny side of this routine and knows he can bring it. This was a fun and upbeat performance and he played the character so well. They were in sync and he did do his homework and did it well! He was looking good in those plaid pants!

9.0 – Bruno said that was a fully-loaded jive and so many steps and well done, but he lost footing at times.
9.0 – Len said he came out and no messing around and he loves his energy, attack and enthusiasm.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said the routine was just a hair too challenging for him, but he did not miss one step and he pushed himself.
Score: 27/30

Team: Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani
Dance: Salsa

Leah said she is not that used to being happy after last week’s performance. Tony thinks they can contend and is giving her a routine that makes the judges say wow. He has choreographed a hard dance for her now. Okay, this is a show about improving every week. These are not supposed to be dancers, but stars. Leah has no dancing ability coming into this season and what she just did was amazing! Tony had tricks in there and was flinging her around and she did it like a pro. Get it, girl!

9.0 – Bruno said she gave him a real good flash of the salsa.
8.0 – Len said one or two of the lifts weren’t clean enough, but they came out and gave it.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said she is in the zone and that was going to the hottest salsa club and they were the hottest couple out there.
Score: 26/30

Team: Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke
Dance: Jive

They seem to be in the bottom three of the couples, so it is time to step up this week on DWTS 2013. Jack is having some midseason blues, since they have longer dances and two dances to learn this week. He is feeling exhausted and his body is giving out and thinks it could be the MS. It started weird for me, but he got better and the routine was fun. He has some weird arm movements and hands, but he worked it out.

9.0 – Bruno said he has a wonderful ease of move and light on his feet and sense of character.
8.0 – Len said he has great musicality, but he wanted him to be lighter on his feet.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said what he did tonight was perfectly suited for him and everything was done with perfection.
Score: 27/30

Team: Amber Riley and Derek Hough
Dance: Paso Doble

Derek said he is done trying to please Len and he tried to do that last week and it failed. Amber’s knees are killing her and Derek’s back is killing him. They left the injuries in the rehearsal room and put on a great routine tonight. This was intense and so good. Such a great couple!

9.0 – Bruno said it was full of depth and flavor and she dances with the attack of the demon, but be careful of the shoulders.
10.0 – Len said she captured the flavor of the dance and they are back in the game.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said she slayed the beast again and she had everything under the sun and lit the ballroom up.
Score: 29/30

Team: Bill Engvall and Emma Slater
Dance: Quickstep

He said it is a sprint for a minute and a half and it is hard for him to keep up. He is wanting to get a 9 and thinks they have earned it. He keeps the dance going the whole time, but it was a little slowed down for him. He did well though, but the other dancers are just better on DWTS 2013.

8.0 – Bruno said most of the steps were right, but a very good try.
7.0 – Len said it had speed and energy, but he lost his technique at places.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said he did not break hold, but it wasn’t strong enough to support the dance.
Score: 23/30

Team: Snooki and Sasha Farber
Dance: Samba

She said she is channeling Beyonce for the first part of this dance, but then Beyonce doesn’t samba. Sasha didn’t see Beyonce do some of those moves. Her son has been sick and she got no sleep, so she feels like a zombie. She seemed so lost in the beginning and it was just awkward, but they got it together in the middle and finished strong.

9.0 – Bruno said once she got in the samba groove it was flowing.
9.0 – Len said it wasn’t pretty at the beginning, but after that and it was focused.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said sometimes she is ahead of the music and finishing her moves too quick, but extend the music.
Score: 27/30

Team: Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff
Dance: Cha Cha Cha

After their scores last week, Karina wanted them to give a clean Cha Cha. They changed choreography quite a bit this week, but Karina is not feeling it at all. She is changing it still on Friday and Corbin is freaking out! They may have taken all week to figure out the routine, but it was well worth it! This was awesome and he looked like he was having so much fun. I think I smell a perfect score???

10.0 – Bruno said Corbin is back in sparkling form and brilliant.
9.0 – Len said lovely, crisp footwork, but he is not a lover of the gyrating in the middle, but it fit in beautifully with the music.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said that was the tightest Cha Cha she has ever seen and the posture was in the right place.
Score: 29/30

Round 2

Team Spooky Bom Bom
Time for the team dance and Tom Bergeron said based on the scores and votes right now, one of the couples on Team Spooky Bom Bom would be going home tonight. They have Bill & Emma, Leah & Tony, Elizabeth & Val and Snooki & Sasha. Bill came up with a Halloween theme and they all went with it. They were great together and it was very entertaining.

9.0 – Bruno said they worked with each couples’ strengths and so much fun.
9.0 – Len said the parts together were tight and right on the money and they were entertained.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said it was thoroughly entertaining and Bill was the glue that held that performance together.
Score: 27/30

Team Foxing Awesome
Derek has never lost a team dance, so he has some pressure tonight. On this team is Amber & Derek, Corbin & Karina, Brant & Peta and Jack & Cheryl. They each have their solos, so they are feeling pressure to have their solos match everyone else. This was absolutely amazing. It was entertaining and they had moves and I loved it.

10.0 – Bruno said that was so clever and so inventive and the choreography gave him goosebumps.
10.0 – Len said stands up and salutes both teams.
10.0 – Carrie Ann said she feels like she was on an acid trip and they were super detailed.
Score: 30/30 and Derek wins the team dance once again!

Tom Bergeron announces that all the couples on team Foxing Awesome are safe tonight on Dancing with the Stars 2013!

Here are the results on DWTS 2013 tonight. The couples that are safe are:

  • Elizabeth and Val
  • Leah and Tony
  • Bill and Emma

That means that Snooki and Sasha have been eliminated on Dancing with the Stars 2013! Another, somewhat, shocker, but Bill Engvall has some major, major fans out there voting for him, huh?
