WARNING: DANCING WITH THE STARS 2013 SPOILERS AHEAD!

The following post contains videos from tonight’s performances on DWTS 2013 Week 5. Don’t want to know who went home on Dancing with the Stars Season 17 tonight? Then don’t look ahead!!!

*****************************************************************

Here we go…the night kicks off with a performance of “Wake Me Up” by Aloe Blacc. I love this song, so a great start to the night!

Team: Christina Milian and Mark Ballas
Dance: Cha Cha Cha

For Christina, the year is 2010. She gave birth to her daughter, which is the biggest miracle in her life. Then later that year she finds out that her husband was cheating on her and her marriage had come to an end. They are dancing to “Forget You” and showing she is moving on and being strong. I absolutely loved this and she shined on it. They had such fun moves and looked great together!

9.0 – Bruno said tight footwork and great finish and he is all hot and doesn’t know why.
10.0 – Len said fire in the performance and ice cold in the attitude and great technique.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said she has been great and always enjoyed her performances, but something was different tonight and their technique was on fire!
Score: 28/30 and the first 10 of the season!

Team: Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke
Dance: Waltz

For him, it would be 2012. He moved into a new house with his wife and became a father. Two and a half weeks later he was diagnosed with MS! As scary as it was for him, he was even more scared for his daughter and bring on the waterworks! He said if you don’t have bad than you can’t have good, which is so true. He is dedicating this dance to his wife and daughter. I think Jack is perfect on these types of dances and this was elegant and his lines looked great. He impresses me every week on Dancing with the Stars 2013!

9.0 – Bruno said your dancing tonight was wonderful and his footwork was so light and musical.
9.0 – Len said he came out and had good hold and work on his hands some, but a fabulous waltz.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said there is something so magical about him and everything flowed and the whole thing was great.
Score: 27/30

Team: Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani
Dance: Contemporary

This past year has been changing for her, as she has changed her religion and made headlines with it. She thinks her daughter can see the changes. She dedicates this to anyone going through change and is scared to find their own strength and power. I loved it! The emotion was there and her story was told perfectly. Some great dance moves and I am loving this night!

8.0 – Bruno said it is a lot to take on for the first time, but she did well and the performance was very good and effective.
7.0 – Len said loved the concept was terrific and the lifts were labored, but it was good but not great.
7.0 – Carrie Ann said she loved the concept and the message and the beginning was executed beautifully, but then it lost it.
Score: 22/30

Team: Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff
Dance: Foxtrot

For Corbin, it goes back to 2011 and the year his sister was diagnosed with scoliosis. They are dancing to “My Wish” and he thinks the lyrics represent what he wants to say to his sister. For anyone else, this would have been an amazing routine. For Corbin, it seemed to be off at the beginning with their footwork. He improved at the end and the kiss-blowing move to his sister was priceless and brought a tear to my eye!

10.0 – Bruno babbled about being a love child.
9.0 – Len said he is a terrific dancer and whatever dance he gets, he gets the character of it right away.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said his footwork was great at end, but he missed it at the beginning.
Score: 28/30

Team: Bill Engvall and Emma Slater
Dance: Viennese Waltz

He chooses 1982, which is the year he married his wife. He said his whole career has been about him and she rarely gets any accolades and this week on Dancing with the Stars 2013 it is all about her. This was cute and you could feel the emotion of the performance. He did really well and I am impressed!

8.0 – Bruno said honest, heartfelt and emotional and he wears his heart on his sleeves.
8.0 – Len said he liked him in hold and he kept his frame well.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said dancing is about touching people’s souls and he did that, but he did it with being off time.
Score: 24/30

Team: Snooki and Sasha Farber
Dance: Jazz

For Snooki, her best year was 2012 when she gave birth to her son. She said having him has changed her life and she is a better person because of it. She is going out tonight on Dancing with the Stars 2013 and dancing for her son because he has made her who she is today. I always hate to admit it, but she has some great dance moves and is proving herself on this show!

9.0 – Bruno said he loved it.
9.0 – Len said it was fast-paced and vibrant and the lifts were clean and it was fun to watch.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said she doesn’t know how she does it, but every week she comes out and surprises her.
Score: 27/30

Team: Brant Daugherty and Peta Murgatroyd
Dance: Contemporary

For Brant, his year is 2009. He moved to Hollywood the year before to pursue acting. His Dad supported his career and helped him move out there, but in 2009 he passed away. He said his Dad would be in the front row cheering him on tonight. I am a huge fan of contemporary and this was a great performance. He shows the emotion during and after the dance, so props to him.

9.0 – Bruno said your Dad is looking down on you with such pride and he acted it wonderfully.
9.0 – Len said that was terrific and loved the passion of it and the chemistry.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said every movement were driven from a true place of passion and she wrapped her heart around it.
Score: 27/30

Team: Amber Riley and Derek Hough
Dance: Foxtrot

Her year was 2009 and she was finding work any where she could find it. She auditioned for American Idol and got denied. She then auditioned for Glee and it was one of the biggest shows at that time. This was a great routine from them and Amber worked it out, yet again on Dancing with the Stars 2013!

10.0 – Bruno said lady Amber is here to stay and she is a performing powerhouse.
7.0 – Len said she is a star and she lights the place up and is a true performer, but there was not enough foxtrot in there.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said she danced the heck out of that song and she hits every routine.
Score: 26/30

Team: Elizabeth Berkley and Val Chmerkovskiy
Dance: Jive

Her most memorable year is 2012 when her son was born. She wants him to know that he can always dream big. Val wants to pay tribute to Saved by the Bell with this routine. It had a weird and rough start, but they kicked it in. This had so much energy and they did so well together.

9.0 – Bruno said she took me back and incredible fun.
9.0 – Len said the kicks were so fast, so clean and exact.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said the kicks were a little soft for her, but thank you for taking me back to a time warp.
Score: 26/30
