We are in for a Hough reunion tonight on Dancing with the Stars 2013, as Julianne Hough returns to her old stomping grounds but not as a professional dancer but as a guest judge filling in for Len Goodman. How awkward will it be for Derek Hough to be judged and scored by his sister on DWTS 2013? Will be biased and go easy on him and Amber Riley? We shall see tonight on Dancing with the Stars Season 17, but I am thinking she will be even harder on them then the other couples! Check it out with us during our Dancing with the Stars 2013 Recap and see who got eliminated on Dancing with the Stars 2013 tonight!

Last week on DWTS Season 17, we got to see the couples take on Hollywood Week. They got into their old Hollywood costumes and put on some fun and entertaining routines. The scores were good, but the focus seemed to be on Bill Nye and his injury. His hurt knee did not keep him off the dance floor, but the fans did, as he was eliminated at the end of the show!

The ten remaining couples perform for our votes again tonight on Dancing with the Stars 2013, but at the end of the two hours we will see our third couple eliminated. We made our predictions earlier, so check them out and follow along with our recap starting soon!

The following post contains videos from tonight’s performances on DWTS 2013 Week 4. Don’t want to know who went home on Dancing with the Stars Season 17 tonight? Then don’t look ahead!!!

Here we go…

Team: Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke
Dance: Quickstep

These two have a funny relationship and she is hard on him, but it is funny to watch. She tells us she knows she is hard on him, but wouldn’t want to be dancing with! This was very quick and fun to watch. He did a great job and they did great together. I am very impressed and he does very good each and every week!

8.0 – Bruno said he has never seen so many tricks in his life and the footwork was incredible, but be careful not to lose the frame.
8.0 – Julianne said such an improvement from last week and ballroom is his specialty, but show that he is having some fun.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said she liked his frame and way more animated this week than last week.
Score: 24/30

Team: Elizabeth Berkley and Val Chmerkovskiy
Dance: Argentine Tango

Val said that Elizabeth is a great student, but sometimes is in her own world. They had a moment of staring into each other’s eyes as a lesson for her….no clue why! It is always interesting watching her dancing on Dancing with the Stars 2013 because she is so tall, but she did well on this one. It had such intensity and I loved it. Val is looking more and more sexy to me too!

9.0 – Bruno said she has done it and took us into a journey without going wrong.
9.0 – Julianne said she has been one of her favorites from Day 1 and she got chills right away tonight.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said loved what she did with her character and every movement has meaning.
Score: 27/30

Team: Brant Daugherty and Peta Murgatroyd
Dance: Salsa

He hurt his foot last week, but still managed the top of the leaderboard. Now he has a lift to do on this dance, but he hurt his shoulder in a motorcycle accident a few years ago and can’t lift her. They took out some and left in some, so we will see how this goes! He may look awkward in some parts, but he took his shirt off so who is going to complain about that? It was fun and upbeat and they did it very well.

7.0 – Bruno said thought he was a good boy! I would rather you perform and entertain than not.
7.0 – Julianne said that was awesome when he took off his shirt. It was a little bit loosey goosey for her and it could have been tighter.
7.0 – Carrie Ann said the lifts were fantastic, but the actual salsa was a little broken.
Score: 21/30

Team: Valerie Harper and Tristan Macmanus
Dance: Viennese Waltz

She felt she missed the choreography last week and now wants to do so much better this week. They are dancing to “Carry On” and she said it is the musical message she is trying to send out. I think this may be her farewell dance and she knew it. She got tears in her eyes when it ended and so did I.

6.0 – Bruno said she painted some very pretty pictures this week and hit the poses, but if she goes wrong then cover it up.
6.0 – Julianne said she was beautiful and she bows down to her.
6.0 – Carrie Ann said there were some beautiful moments, but the mistakes stood out more.
Score: 18/30

Team: Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani
Dance: Cha Cha Cha

She asked Tony to give her less moves and him dance around her! Instead, he gave her more moves. She wanted him to show some skin or come down on a pole to get their first 9 this season on DWTS 2013. Okay, the nerves from the beginning of the season are way gone! This was awesome and she had some tricks and some great moves. I loved it!

8.0 – Bruno said all the attitude and she performed so well.
8.0 – Julianne said she had strong footwork and she was really sticking it, but use that body to match the face.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said she loves watching her and she feels the moves, but a few of the movements could match her face.
Score: 24/30

Team: Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff
Dance: Paso Doble

They are in second on the leaderboard, but who wants to come here for second place, right? They are trying to make this as technical and traditional as possible. Yeah, this had the intensity and such great moves. Another great routine from this couple on DWTS 2013!

9.0 – Bruno said it was the pure essence of the paso doble and it was an incredibly powerful performance.
9.0 – Julianne said thank you for doing no gimmicks because he doesn’t need because he is so good.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said she loved it and the intensity was smoldering.
Score: 27/30

Team: Snooki and Sasha Farber
Dance: Jive

They are doing this dance to a cheerleading theme, which is her strong point. She was a cheerleader in high school, but went through a dark time. She became anorexic and wants to put a positive light on cheerleading for her life. She got sick during the week, so rehearsals were rough. This was a very energetic routine and they had fun and put some tricks in there.

8.0 – Bruno said her performance level has grown beyond recognition, but it was brilliant.
8.0 – Julianne said that was so her and she has come out and she is performing now, but have more of a connection with Sasha.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said that was the cutest thing she has ever seen, but watch her arms.
Score: 24/30

Team: Christina Milian and Mark Ballas
Dance: Foxtrot

This is Christina’s first ballroom dance of the season, which happens to come during Week 4? She is feeling upset about being one of the last two couples last week. It doesn’t mean she was in the bottom two, but she is still paranoid. This was another good performance from them. She has the moves and I liked the choreography.

8.0 – Bruno said it was spunky and sultry.
8.0 – Julianne said she was hoping for more of a softer side and would love to see a different side of her.
8.0 – Carrie Ann said she has to work on her shoulders, but she performs the heck out of these numbers.
Score: 24/30

Team: Amber Riley and Derek Hough
Dance: Tango

Derek said that his sister is his hardest critique, so if they do bad she will give them a bad score. Amber has had issues with her knees, so she had to get fluid drained from them and it hurt their rehearsal time. You could see her counting the moves in her head at times, but this was intense and I loved it. She looks good out there!

9.0 – Bruno said that was pure, classic tango.
9.0 – Julianne said she is so good and she was wonderful.
9.0 – Carrie Ann said they were connected and they were one person and so crisp and clean and passionate.
Score: 27/30

Team: Bill Engvall and Emma Slater
Dance: Samba

He said he doesn’t have the hip gyrating and doing all that stuff and he looks like a creepy old man doing it now. They have a screwup at the beginning, but he played it off well. He just looked awkward in this routine and bounding around and it just felt weird to me.

7.0 – Bruno said he thought he was going to wet himself and it had everything you want in a samba, but timing and rh
6.0 – Julianne said everyone here loves him and he is the heart of the show.
6.0 – Carrie Ann said she loves watching him perform and everyone loves him.
Score: 24/30

Tom Bergeron then informs Bill and Emma that they are safe this week!

Now to the elimination and the following couples are safe:

  • Elizabeth and Val
  • Leah and Tony
  • Corbin and Karina
  • Amber and Derek
  • Jack and Ceryl
  • Christina and Mark

That leaves us with Brant & Peta, Snooki & Sasha and Valerie & Tristan still to get results. The next couple safe are Snooki and Sasha! The final two couples, but not necessarily the bottom two couples, are Brant & Peta and Valerie & Tristan. The couple eliminated tonight on DWTS 2013 are Valerie Harper and Tristan MacManus!

That’s it for tonight on Dancing with the Stars 2013. What do you think of the results?
