We all saw the dramatic and emotional conclusion of The Bachelorette 2013 last night and in a shocking twist, The Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock accepted the proposal from Chris Siegfried and they live happily ever after? Well, not so fast on that last part. We are less than 24 hours into the fact that they can be seen in public together, so don’t jump to any conclusions yet. However, they did appear on Good Morning America this morning to talk about their journey and their future. Check out the interview in our Bachelorette 2013 spoilers video below!

Bachelorette 2013 Spoilers - Desiree and Chris

While Reality Steve was telling us that Brooks Forester was winning The Bachelorette Season 9, Desiree saw things differently, especially after that heartbreaking departure from Brooks during Part 1 of The Bachelorette 2013 finale. While she saw things differently, Chris Siegfried never even saw it:

“I actually didn’t watch the entire part of it. We initially talked about watching the episodes and how we would handle that for our relationship going forward and we kind of just decided that maybe it would be best to watch the segments that we just shared together.”

That is probably some wise thinking, especially seeing how devastated Desiree was when Brooks decided to leave the show. Would Chris think that he was just the next best thing compared to Brooks if he did watch it??? Des doesn’t think so:

“It’s a different situation because the feelings are more accelerated, but at the same time I think that helped in me really getting past the hurt from Brooks leaving and being able to see all that was here in Chris. Sometimes I think you do need to go through the hard to get to the good.”

I do have high hopes for this couple and think they are just two real people that were looking for love on a reality show. They’ll live in Seattle and go about their normal lives and get married and just be happy? We shall see, but check out their interview on GMA right here:
